Mheetu's Last Fight

Mheetu stood in the shadow of Pride Rock facing a crazy-eyed Zira. She had chased him down here while Scar had been distracted. He knew this day would come, Zira had hated the fact that Scar chose him over her cubs. Nuka was unfitting to be King and her baby girl would serve no better. He knew she'd try to do something like this. "Don't think I won't hesitate to kill you" Mheetu said as he tensed his muscles and the rain began to pour. Zira's lips lifted in an evil sneer. "Do you honestly believe I would risk my life to kill you? Foolish prince" she practically hissed the word. Mheetu launched at her and bit a good chunk out of her ear before her hind claws dug into his stomach and she pushed him off of her. As he stood up he could see the other lionesses of her pride closing in on him. Panic set in as he realized he could not escape. "If this is my last fight than so be it, but don't think you'll get away with the murder of a REAL future King." Mheetu said through gritted teeth. Zira growled, "I will. And you can watch from the stars, precious Prince!"
And with that the lionesses closed in, and Mheetu readied himself for what would inevitably be his last fight. "

Whew, its been a while since I'd drawn Mheetu I thought I'd draw his final scene, I was going to draw Zira but I fail at her I wanted to draw something different before continuing with the Fearless Project so here it is! Enjoy
